


Australian Grand Prix x RMIT
For this project, we have integrated technology into fashion by including simple existing technologies into our garments to enhance the design. Our designs and the technologies we have incorporated are based on what we think represents motorsports, especially the Grand Prix and the Live Fast campaign. Our target audiences are both premium seekers and culture vultures, and our aim is to allow them to experience the F1 event more. Thus, our designs include features that can be commonly seen at the event like smoke and lights. Our designs are also based on being modern and futuristic to attract the younger groups and showcase something new to existing fans. When showcased, the features we have included in relation to motorsports and the Live Fast campaign should be easily recognisable to the audience even if they do not know much about motorsports. We also wanted to keep our designs clean and not too occupied so that every individual aspect of the design can be focused upon without too much distraction. Although our couture designs mainly fall into the womenswear category, our streetwear is aimed at being gender neutral.
